Schenectady Police arrested five people Tuesday night after hearing a gun go off in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood.Out of the group police say three men were found with weapons. They include James Hill, 19, Markese Jones, 18, and a third male whose name cannot be released because of his age. Pleasant neighborhood.The arrests come as Schenectady Police have increased patrolling in neighborhoods where crimes have been committed in an effort to get weapons off the streets. So far, five loaded hand guns have been recovered.
