Middle Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, a plain-clothes outfit that focuses on narcotics, weapons and gang-related investigations, has already been responsible for 19 arrests and the execution of four search warrants which netted illicit drugs and a hand gun.
According to a release, the unit, formed in November 2007, asks the residents of Middle Township to assist in providing information they feel may help the unit.
